English Project Days with Jacqueline Gall

Wednesday 22nd April ist the first of our project days with our native speaker Jacqueline Gall. You want to read more? Just klick the button below...

Jacqueline is from Scotland and the best teacher of English ever! Today we learned a lot about Scotland, traditions, music and lots more. Just have a look at the pictures!

Bagpipes, kilt ... isn't that exciting? Oggi even managed to make the pipes "sound". We spent some time in the kitchen and made Irish soda bread with raspberry jam. Delicious! We had some wonderful cups of English tea with that, of course. Our first day ended with THE traditional English national sport: cricket. The rules are a bit complicated but it ist great fun as you can see.

Thursday 23rd April: Playing British  group games. Good fun! We have recipes for English chocolate chips cookies. Here we go. Just look at these pictures. What a wonderful sweet smell that ist filling our school building!

Our language project with Jacqueline is really great fun. And we practize our English which makes us almost perfect. cool Now we are going to try "Gaelic Football". Let's see...

Friday 24th April: We started with arts lessons and designed our own T-shirts. Arent't they gorgeous? Just look at the pictures. Another lesson in the kitchen. Who says English food ist not good? Kooking with Jacqueline is real fun. In the end we played some group games where girls tried to beat the boys. Who won? What do you think? Unfortunately the three project days with OUR Jackie were over too quickly. We enjoyed our English project and got a "certificate of attendance" which you can see on the photo.

Thank you Jackie for three wonderful days language project with you!
